I would like to thank all of my friends and passers by that sent their condolences to me about my cat. It is still hard to accept that he's gone. Even though I know he's better off, I'm not. I miss him dearly, loved him well and grieve the most. Before I could recover even a bit, my computer main frame blew up... thank you IE 8!!! :mad: If it's not broke, don't fix it!!!! The download had a major virus and the rest was history. It now is at the computer hospital. *rolls my eyes* As I decided to hide from the world and crawl in bed from the irony of my life, I awoke to be sick once again. Migraine headache and body aches everywhere there was a body. *sighs* A few personal things going on in my life have my head fogged up and my art is suffering because my main computer blew. If you wouldn't mind my friends, if you pass my page say a prayer, light a candle or send a blessing my way. I'm beginning to think a curse has settled over me.

Please remember the campaign and submit a poem, writing, manipulation or whatever you feel you can to this campaign. Help me make people aware. Ribbon Campaigns Return
Rape & Suicide

We all have these experiences in our lives. If you haven't then you are a minority who will eventually be swallowed up by statistics. Sounds harsh but the reality is that everyone will know someone who has committed suicide or has been raped, maybe even both. Or it could be one resulted in the other. Whatever it is, the epidemic is getting worse. It's spreading as our society feels the crunch of hard times, violence is escalating and no way out scenarios become a thing of reality.

Make the public aware. That's what this is all about. Take your art account, your talent and your good intentions and turn them into a public awareness campaign. All you need do is post a stamp, a blinkie, a ribbon or maybe all of the above. Thank you my friends, and thank you "Samira" for helping me to find my compassion and the strength to continue on helping others.

(Update on the Update) My cold is getting better slowly but surely. The cough continues to hang but that's normal. A few more weeks and I should be almost 100% better. Thank you for all the well wishes, I truly appreciate them.

(Update) My cold came back with a vengeance and is now full blown Chronic Bronchitis. I have a breathing machine to do treatments on and this is not something unfamiliar to me. I have had this before though it's been 8 years since I had a problem. I expect it could take up to 3 weeks to start feeling normal again. If I'm slow to comment or respond to messages please know that this is the reason. Thankfully, I have a laptop with wireless internet to work from when I'm upstairs in bed.



(Snippet from 2/28)One day at a time they say. I'm actually feeling much better and because of a lot of support from the wonderful people here I believe it's helped me to feel better even faster. Not to mention that woman with the cookies coming around all the time, grrrrrr. Bad, cookies bad. (not)

(Update)That lady with the cookies caught up with me. She brain-washed me with an Obsidian Blood Cookie. *arg, blasted woman* Now she's got me in her cult and I'm powerless to stop her. I knew I should have bit her when I had the chance.
